IKEA kitchen cabinets

The basic kitchen cupboards and drawers are from IKEA. The price/quality ratio is excellent. With over 15 years' experience, we can say that this is a great option.

You can order the cupboards, drawers, skirting boards, hinges, etc. separately at IKEA. You don't have to order the entire kitchen from IKEA. You can also order a worktop or appliances here, but it's not compulsory. Other brands integrate well.

If KOAK also does the installation, you can also order the IKEA kitchen for yourself.

KOAK design doors and fronts

The most beautiful part of the kitchen, the most visible, is of course the doors and the side panels. This makes the design. And there are plenty of options.

We love real natural materials and, especially in the case of real oak, you can really tell that it's completely solid: you can see that it's "alive". It never disappoints in real life.

All materials are finished with natural oils that allow for a variety of colours;

The sides of the kitchen are fitted with panels, inserts and/or thick white walls. You can also use the rounded corner elements here. Or even use 2 cm thick pass-through pieces between the basic IKEA cupboards to create the Japandi style.

You can also, for example, choose to order a custom-made open (wine) cabinet between the lower cabinets or a floating shelf above part of the worktop for your kitchen.

The worktop

There are various options for the worktop, depending on the type of worktop and your budget.

You can order the worktop from IKEA, have a concrete or terrazzo worktop made on site by KOAK (only in the Netherlands and Belgium), have a natural stone worktop, such as marble or granite, measured and installed by a local supplier. But you can also make a worktop yourself, for example out of cement. In addition, there are many suppliers who provide ceramic worktops;

The advice is to get a quote based on the design, then install the kitchen and measure the worktop.

All you have to do is shop online (always the best prices), but you can also visit the physical shops first to see everything or opt (in part) for the IKEA range;

Installation

Installing and assembling your kitchen can, of course, be done by yourself, if you're a bit handy. Not so handy, don't have the right tools or just don't feel like it or don't have the time?

Then have it made by us (only in the Netherlands and Belgium) or by IKEA or your handyman;
